What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept personal checks, credit cards, money orders, cashier's checks and PayPal.

When do I pay for my order?
A $200.00 deposit is required at time of placement. This deposit is included in your quote and is refundable. The remaining balance is due upon delivery of your vehicle in the form of CASH (U.S. DOLLARS) or CASHIER'S CHECK only.

Do I need to purchase insurance or is that included?
No. Insurance is included in your quote. While in transit, your vehicle is covered by the carrier's primary insurance.

How will my automobile be shipped?
You can choose from either an open carrier like the ones you see transporting vehicles to and from the dealerships or an "enclosed carrier" which we recommend if you are transporting either an exotic or custom built car, truck, or motorcycle.

What is door-to-door service and do you provide it?
Door-to-door service means your vehicle is picked up and delivered to the addresses provided to us on the order form. Silva Auto Transport does provide door-to-door service. However, if for some reason the carrier/trucking company cannot access the address, you will be asked for an alternate location accessible for a truck.

Do I have to be present when my vehicle is picked up and delivered?
If you can not be present at either the pickup or delivery of the vehicle, we ask that you designate a person to act as your agent for either the pick up or drop off (or both if necessary).

What if my vehicle is inoperable?
We have the means to move inoperable vehicles. However, there will be an additional winch-on fee added to the quote.

What if my vehicle drop-off or pick-up location is inaccessible to the truck?
Auto transport trucks are fairly large, about 75 feet long. This often makes it impossible to reach many residential areas. If that's the case with your auto move, your vehicle mover will attempt to get as close as possible to your delivery location. We can also arrange a convenient location, like a nearby shopping center, to either pick up or deliver your vehicle.
